At Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church we offer two styles of worship each Sunday.
8:00 a.m. Sunday Worship
- Our early service each Sunday follows a liturgy in the Lutheran Service Book. This worship experience represents a communal response to and participation in the sacraments through activity reflecting praise, thanksgiving, supplication and repentance. The Liturgy and Hymns are selected from the Lutheran Service Book which reflect God's Word and the message chosen for each worship service. Holy Communion is celebrated on the 1st and 3rd Sunday's of each month.
10:30 a.m. Sunday Worship
- Our late service each Sunday follows a more contemporary approach with song leaders and the order of Worship printed out for each individual. This worship experience also represents a communal response to and participation in the sacraments reflecting praise, thanksgiving, supplication and repentance. Holy Communion is celebrated on the 1st and 3rd Sunday's of each month.
9:30 A.m. Thursday Morning
- When regulations allowed us to resume meeting in person again in May 2020, Covid-19 still restricted some members ability or desire to worship in large groups. A service for high risk individuals is held with all attendees wearing masks and using social distancing to enjoy a review of the previous Sunday's message and to celebrate Holy Communion each week.
- During the Seasons of Advent and Lent, Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church holds special services on Wednesday Evenings at 7:00 p.m. The Seasonal Worship services are more contemporary in nature, celebrating the life of Jesus Christ, Our Savior, based on the season of the Church Year.
