Tom Vanderbilt
Senior Pastor
Pastor Tom Vanderbilt was called to serve as Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church's Senior Pastor and installed on September 22, 2019. Prior to that, he served as Pastor of Messiah Lutheran Church in Lansing MI.
The attributes that best describe Pastor Vanderbilt as a pastor are strong preaching, leadership development and counseling. He has expressed a burning desire to lead a church like Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church where biblical views are embraced and encouraged with members who care about the needs of those around them and who want to connect others to the body of Christ. Pastor Vanderbilt takes worship and teaching very seriously, spending the first hours of his day focused on Bible study and prayer.
Aaron Finkel
Director of Christian Education
Aaron completed his studies at Concordia College Chicago in May 2021 and began his internship as a Director of Christian Education at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church on June 20, 2021.
